Ucluth Development Corporation is pround to open the announce the opening of the Wya Welcome Centre which showcases culture, commerce and healthy living at the doorstep to the Pacific Rim peninsula. The Welcome Centre is a collection of refurbished buildings, playforunfds, green space, organic gardens and RV camp sites all nicely spaced out over 5 acres of property right at the junction with highway 4 and the Tofino/Ucluelet highway. Visitors will be encouraged to turn left at the junction towards Ucluelet and stop to stretch their legs, learn about Yuu-cluth-aht culture and treaty government, have some fresh locally produced food, play in the kids playground and learn more about the surrounding area. Hours of operation are 8 am thru 7pm seven days a week.
